Open the Snipd app on CarPlay

After connecting your phone to CarPlay, find the Snipd app logo on the CarPlay home screen or open up the app on your phone.

How to create a snip via CarPlay

Option 1: Use the “create snip” button on the queue screen

Option 2: Use the Snipd-logo button on the player screen

Option 3: Use the “skip-back” button on your steering wheel

For most modern cars, you should be able to use the “skip-back” button on your steering wheel to create a snip. However, it does not work for all cars.

FYI: If you have changed the “snip with headphones” settings in the app to use a different headphone action for snipping, then this change will also affect your car’s skip-back and skip-forward buttons.
